General Park Information
When are you open for the 2026 season?

- The banner at the top of our website is the most accurate information about our hours and weather-related changes.
- We’re normally open daily from 9am to 6pm, with last entry at 5pm.
- We’re open on holidays like Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.
- We’re open 7 days a week through Labor Day.
- We’re open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after Labor Day until the weather gets too cold for our animals.
What are park prices?
Daily tickets grant admission for one person for a day. Season passes give unlimited park access for one person for the entire season.
Day Tickets:
- Combo ticket (both parks): $25.99 per person
- Walk-thru park only: $19.99 per person
- Drive-thru safari only: $19.99 per person
Season Passes:
- Combo Pass: $125 per person
- Walk-thru park only pass: $75 per person
- Drive-thru safari only pass: $75 per person
Do kids get free admission?
Yes! Children ages 2 and under are free for both the walk-thru park and the safari park. Once your child turns 3 years old, they’ll need a day ticket or season pass for entry.
Where are you located?
Our address is 7850 14 Mile Road NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319. We are located approximately 20 minutes north of Grand Rapids and 5 miles east of US-131 (Exit 101).
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards. Please note there is a $5.00 minimum for all credit card transactions. We do not accept personal checks.
What is your rain policy?
We are an outdoor facility and operate rain or shine! If it begins to rain after you arrive, you are welcome to wait it out in your car, one of our exhibit buildings, or under a pavilion. However, in the event of severe weather (lightning or high winds), we may close the park for safety (yours and our animals). We do not offer refunds or rain checks for weather.

Animal Interaction & Safety
Can we feed the animals?
For the health and safety of our animals, you may only use feed purchased at our park. Outside food can be dangerous to our residents’ strictly monitored diets. Please help us keep our animals happy and healthy; feed them food from the park only.
Are pets or service animals allowed?
To ensure the safety of our resident animals and yours, no outside animals of any kind are permitted in our parks, including inside vehicles for the drive-thru park. This includes service animals, per the ADA, as their presence can cause significant stress or defensive behavior in our wildlife. Service animals are allowed in our main building.

What should we wear?
We recommend comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes. You will be walking on a variety of surfaces, including pavement and gravel. Don’t forget sunscreen and hats for sunny Michigan afternoons!
Can we bottle feed baby animals?
Yes! We offer bottle feedings for our baby animals, usually twice a day. You can reserve feedings by calling ahead or book them at the ticket booth when you arrive.
- Bottle feedings are usually at 10:30am and 2:00pm
- Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your bottle feeding
- Prices vary between $6 and $8 per feeding, depending on the animal
The Drive-Thru Safari
Is the Safari park priced per vehicle?
No, tickets and season passes for the drive-thru safari are per-person. All pricing for tickets and season passes is per-person.
Children 2 and under receive free admission to the safari park and the walk-thru park.
Can we ride in the back of a pickup truck?
For safety reasons, all guests must remain inside the cab of the vehicle with seatbelts fastened. No one is permitted to ride in the bed of a pickup truck.
What are the vehicle requirements?
- Max Height: 9 feet.
- Restrictions: No motorcycles, buses, trailers, convertibles with the top down, or Jeeps with doors/tops removed.
- Windows: Must be either all the way UP or all the way DOWN.
Are there specific rules for the Bear Enclosure?
Yes. When entering the bear area:
- All vehicle doors must be locked
- All windows must be completely rolled up
- Sun roofs must be closed
- No feeding is allowed in the bear section under any circumstances
- No stopping within the bear enclosure—keep moving
Food & Facilities
Can we bring our own food?
Outside food is only allowed for pre-approved birthday parties and school groups. We have food available for purchase on-site, snacks you can grab, delicious homemade ice cream, and occasionally food trucks to keep you fed and energized for a day at Deer Tracks.
Do you have a place to eat on-site?
Yes! We have several picnic areas available. Plus, our Homemade Ice Cream Shop is located in the main building for treats, shakes, and sundaes.
Is the park wheelchair accessible?
Our Walk-Through Animal Park features paved pathways, making it accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. Please note that we do not offer wheelchair or stroller rentals on-site, so please bring your own.
